Alyse Monta

Alyse aka “Lysie” brings a one-of-a-kind spark to our team—equal parts adventure, heart, and heavy metal. A Navy veteran who once served as a Gunner’s Mate on the USS Forest Sherman, she’s swapped ships for trees and now channels her passion into the world of arboriculture (with a little help from her arborist husband who introduced her to the field!).

When she’s not connecting with clients or chasing the next big goal, you’ll probably find her hiking a rugged trail, nose in a great book (Robert McCammon’s Boy’s Life, anyone?), or baking something sweet—especially if it involves baklava. Music? The louder the better: metal, alternative, and dubstep are her go-tos.

Alyse's energy is as colorful as her tattoos, one of which is a swallow—a Navy symbol for good luck and safe travels. It’s a perfect match for someone whose advice to future generations is:
