Support the Henry Davis Scholarship
Henry F. Davis was a highly respected professional arborist in the Boston area and beyond. He was a renaissance man in business and in how he perfected both the art and science of modern arboriculture. His innovative approach, treatments, and professionalism were unrivaled in his day.
A Hero's Story...

Henry loved to mentor rising arborists, and his passion provided the foundation for so many of his students to realize successful, rewarding careers. His clientele followed suit with the same admiration and loyalty.

Henry was most passionate about preserving historic, heritage trees. He was responsible for saving hundreds, if not thousands, of veteran trees that surround and shade our public parks, institutions, and private residences. He formed life-long relationships with the trees he cared for and the people who loved them. For more than 50 years, Henry generously supported the Friends of the [Boston] Public Garden, by overseeing care of the park's trees free of charge. In 2013, Mayor Thomas M. Menino officially pronounced April 26, 2013 as Henry Davis Day in the city of Boston.
Honoring Henry Davis
