Joe Camilliere

Joe is a highly decorated arborist with the same notable lineage of training as several of our HMI team members, and can be traced back to the pioneering techniques of Charles Sargent Sprague. He credits his entre into the world of arboriculture to the time he climbed an oak tree during a high school class, and he has been a steward of our urban forests ever since! His favorite thing about being an arborist is that he is helping to save the planet, one tree at a time.

In addition to saving the planet, Joe loves to enjoy all that nature has to offer. He is an avid fisherman and traveler, and loves to wind down at the end of the day with a great walk with his dog and feeding his koi fish. From the Maine coast to the Wind River Mountains of Wyoming, Joe is in his element in nature. Even his favorite book, "Blues" by John Hersey, reflects on the impact nature has on all of us.​
